Okay, we’re going to hold our hands up and say that the only song we can think right off the top of our heads that K’naan has done is Wavin’ Flag (and that’s probably because we heard that often during the World Cup). Anyways, he’s back with his latest offering, this time dueting with Nelly Furtado (another name we’ve not heard in a while)
While Furtado’s vocals are mainly focused on the chorus and eventually the bridge, as you might expect, main vocals fall on K’naan. It’s a great little number with lyrics that people are probably likely to relate to. Possible not a pairing that anyone would think of but it works. Their vocals blend perfectly with neither trying to out do the other. Nice little track for them to come back with and hopefully will be given the attention it deserves.
