Film Review: Men In Black 3

Can you believe that it’s been 14 years since Men In Black 2? No neither can we. Still, the latest instalment has probably been long awaited. Reuniting Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as Agents J & K, the film sees Smith travelling back in time to 1969 to save the young K (played by Josh Brolin) and ensure that the future doesn’t change.

We managed to see it in 3D and to be fair, it works well. It’s not one of these over the top 3D films that if you were to watch it normally, you recognise that the parts that are meant to be 3D. Of course you can expect the usual twists and turns in the script, and considering how much is squeezed into the 90 minute flick, it’s impressive. Also we have to commend Josh Brolin on his portrayal of young K. A difficult role to fill, but he manages it brilliantly bringing the mannerisms of Jones’ character to a younger version.

If we were asked to order the films as favourites it would probably be MiB, MIB3 then MiB2. Our only complaint….where was Frank the pug?? If you’ve enjoyed the previous ones, then you’ll probably enjoy this as well.

Rating: 4/5
